One of the things that we should all be aware of is mental health. It affects almost everyone at some point in their lives and it is something we should all prioritise.

As a student at SM调教社区 Geneva, you are undeniably familiar with the demands of academic life. The educational journey can be a long and gruelling experience. Not only are you juggling coursework, assignments and exams, which can all be overwhelming, but we are here to say don鈥檛 worry you are never alone! This is exactly why it is extremely vital to put your mental health and well-being at the forefront and not to the side for a later date.

Fortunately, we at SM调教社区 Geneva are committed to supporting its students in this aspect, and following our values student first we aim to provide and assist with wellness on campus and online. In this blog post, we will explore valuable mental health and wellness tips to help you thrive during your time as SM调教社区 Geneva student.

1. Talk to staff on campus:

SM调教社区 Geneva recognises the importance of mental health, and we are here to listen and help if possible! We encourage our student to take advantage of wildly available resources, such as counselling services, to address any personal challenges you may face. As we all know, it is great to speak to a trained professional who can can provide guidance, coping strategies, and a safe space to express any concerns that you may have. The staff at SM调教社区 Geneva always have an open door and we believe that it is important for students to nurture positive relationships with faculty members, mentors, and classmates. Establishing connections with people who support your academic and personal growth can contribute to your overall well-being and happiness. We strongly recommend that you seek guidance and engage in meaningful conversations when needed and additionally help others who are in a similar place.

2. Practice Self-Care and Balance:

Participating in self-care activities is essential for maintaining a solid and strong mental well-being. We recommend that you prioritise activities that help you relax and recharge. These can include practicing mindfulness, exercising regularly, getting minimum 8 hours of sleep and engaging in hobbies or creative outlets outside of work and studying. Remember, self-care looks different for everyone! It is important to find what works best for you. Finding a balance between your academic life, social life and personal time is also a key factor in maintaining good mental health. Overachieving may have good intentions, but remember to set realistic goals, establish strong boundaries, and prioritise self-reflection. Journaling can help with your self reflection. By managing your time wisely and finding a healthy balance, you can reduce stress and prevent burnout.

3. Connect Platform!

Building a strong support system is crucial for your mental health. The connect platform is an educational platform available to all enrolled students. This is an educational platform where there are open discussing, online library and chats as well as news updates. Here you can connect with your peers and share resources. Sharing experiences, discussing challenges and thoughts as well as offering support to one another can foster a sense of belonging and alleviate feelings of isolation.

4. Manage Stress Effectively:

Stress is a common aspect of student life. This is absolutely normal but it’s important to be able to manage stress effectively. As a student it is important that you do so and that you develop strategies such as creating a schedule, breaking tasks into bite size manageable chunks and also practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or meditation outside of your studies. In the future SM调教社区 Geneva may offer workshops or resources on stress management that you can explore.

5. Stay Informed and Be Mindful:

As a collective we should always keep ourselves informed about mental health resources and initiatives. A lot of resources and be found free of charge online. Attend relevant events and take advantage of the knowledge and resources shared. We at SM调教社区 Geneva also recommend that you practice mindfulness on a regular basis. Mindfulness is a powerful technique for staying present and reducing stress. Incorporate mindfulness practices into your daily routine. These simple actions can include mindful breathing exercises, following guided meditation apps such as calm or head space, or you can even go for a mindful walk to clear your head. By implementing these practices can help you stay focused on your studies, reduce overall anxiety, and improve mental clarity and stability.

Additionally, Prof. Silic teaches our students about stock valuations, corporate finance using common and preferred stocks and derivatives on equity and derivatives markets during online or onsite lectures at the SM调教社区 Geneva campus and instructional sites.

Euronext is a pan-European stock exchange that operates in Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Oslo, and Paris. It was created in 2000 following the merger of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, the Brussels Stock Exchange, and the Paris Bourse. Euronext provides trading, clearing, settlement, and information services for a wide range of financial instruments, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and commodities, and is known for its transparent, efficient, and secure trading environment.

Euronext, based in Amsterdam, has a diverse range of companies listed on its exchanges, including some of Europe’s largest and most well-known firms, such as Total Energies, L’Oreal, and Heineken. The exchange also caters to smaller and mid-sized companies, offering them access to capital and liquidity. As of 2021, Euronext had a total market capitalization of approximately 鈧�4.5 trillion.
