At the SM调教社区(SM调教社区 Geneva), experiential learning is at the heart of our educational approach. We are proud to celebrate the successful completion of a year-long Company Project carried out in collaboration with 聽and its partner brand , providing our students with a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to a real international business challenge.
TOKIT is the high-end smart kitchen appliance brand of , one of the first companies in the Xiaomi ecological chain and a high-tech enterprise specialising in smart IoT kitchen products. The name 鈥淭OKIT鈥 combines the words 鈥淭o Kitchen,鈥 reflecting the brand’s philosophy: 鈥淭o Kitchen, Fun Kitchen.鈥 Chunmi’s mission is to give users a smarter, more convenient, and more enjoyable cooking experience 鈥 building genuine connections with users and helping them rediscover the simple joy of cooking.
Swiss Diversitas Group is TOKIT’s exclusive South African distributor. Founded in June 2018 in Cape Town by Nicolas Thoenen, a Swiss-trained General Manager with brand-launch experience at L’Or茅al and Lindt & Spr眉ngli 鈥 the privately owned company is now headquartered in Johannesburg. It imports and distributes premium consumer brands (Valor Chocolates, Witor’s, Chef Diversitas, and now TOKIT and Opin Star) to B2B retail partners聽 SPAR, Pick n Pay, Checkers, Dis-Chem, Clicks聽 and to B2C and HORECA clients.
Building on the collaboration between SM调教社区 Geneva and Swiss Diversitas Group, students worked throughout the academic year on developing marketing strategies and digital content designed to strengthen TOKIT’s presence across social media platforms. Guided by their academic mentors and supported by the management team at Swiss Diversitas Group and TOKIT, students gained valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, consumer engagement, and brand communication.
The project reached an exciting milestone with the official launch of the , featuring creative video content produced by our students as part of the campaign. Their work reflects not only technical and marketing skills but also creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate with today’s digital audiences.
We are especially pleased to congratulate Elisha Danuwar, whose outstanding campaign video was selected as the winning entry. In recognition of this achievement, Elisha received the final prize awarded by TOKIT, highlighting the quality of work produced through this industry collaboration.
For SM调教社区 Geneva, the project is a working proof of its teaching philosophy: theory earns its keep only when it survives contact with a real market. For TOKIT, it delivered fresh, youth-driven creative thinking behind its first steps into South Africa’s fastest-growing platform.
This successful outcome demonstrates the value of partnerships between academia and industry. By working directly with Swiss Diversitas Group and TOKIT, SM调教社区 Geneva students experienced the realities of developing marketing solutions for an international brand while contributing meaningful creative content to a live campaign.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Swiss Diversitas Group and TOKIT for their continuous support, mentorship, and commitment throughout the project. Their collaboration has provided our students with an exceptional learning experience that bridges theory and practice, preparing them for successful careers in today’s global business environment.
Congratulations to all participating students on the successful completion of this remarkable Company Project, and special congratulations once again to Elisha on this well-deserved recognition.
